Chalk Sound, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands

     Chalk Sound is a scenic natural lagoon on the southwest of Providenciales that has the unique feature of having hundreds of small rocky islands in shallow brilliant turquoise water. Although the sound is nearly landlocked, the water here is clean and algae free. Because of its status as a National Park, powered watercraft use is not allowed in Chalk Sound. At this time, the main attraction for most visitors is sightseeing by road on the southern side.

Northern Beaches in Sydney, Australia

 The Northern Beaches is an area in the northern coastal suburbs of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia, located near the coast of the Pacific Ocean. This area extends south to the entrance of Port Jackson (Sydney Harbour), west to Middle Harbour and north to the entrance of Broken Bay. The area was formerly inhabited by the Garigal or Caregal people in a region known as Guringai country.

The Northern Beaches district is usually considered to be the area of the Northern Beaches Statistical Subdivision, comprising fully the local government areas of Manly, Warringah and Pittwater. The 2011 Australian census found the Northern Beaches to be the most White and mono-ethnic district in Australia, contrasting with its more-diverse neighbours: the North Shore and the Central Coast.

Pangandaran East Beach, West Java, Indonesia

Pangandaran is a town and district of Pangandaran Regency within the province of West Java, Indonesia. It is located on the southern coast of the island of Java. A well-known surfing beach has made Pangandaran a popular tourist destination. On 17 July 2006, an undersea earthquake measuring 7.7 on the moment magnitude scale triggered a tsunami which engulfed the resort area and caused destruction as far inland as half a kilometre. Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

Freeport is a city, district and free trade zone on the island of Grand Bahama of the northwest Bahamas. In 1955, Wallace Groves, a Virginian financier with lumber interests in Grand Bahama, was granted 50,000 acres (or 202 km²) of pineyard with substantial areas of swamp and scrubland by the Bahamian government with a mandate to economically develop the area. Freeport has grown to become the second most populous city in the Bahamas. The main airport serving the city is the Grand Bahama International Airport.

The Grand Bahama Port Authority (GBPA) operates the free trade zone, under the Hawksbill Creek Agreement signed in August 1955 whereby the Bahamian government agreed that businesses in the Freeport area would pay no taxes before 1980, later extended to 2054. The area of the land grants within which the Hawksbill Creek Agreement applies has been increased to 138,000 acres (or 526 km²).

Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas

Paradise Island is an island in the Bahamas formerly known as Hog Island. The island, with an area of 685 acres (277 ha) (1.1 sq mi/2.8 km²), is located just off the shore of the city of Nassau, which is itself located on the northern edge of the island of New Providence. It is best known for the sprawling resort Atlantis with its extensive water park rides, pools, beach, restaurants, walk-in aquarium and casinos.

Paradise Island is connected to the island of New Providence by two bridges that cross Nassau Harbour. The first was built in 1966 by Resorts International, and the second in the late 1990s.
