Tour Val Des Ecoliers, Belgium

Near Mons station (100 meters), you can see, emerging from buildings, a picturesque building also enigmatic, high square tower with four floors, no roof, just crowned with a stone balustrade. It is the tower of the ancient abbey of Val-des-Schoolboys.

The Abbey of the Val des Ecoliers was a monastery of the Order of St. Augustine, transferred from Valencia in Mons in 1252. First Priory Abbey goes back in its constitution in 1617. The monks were called "Schoolchildren". This community was suppressed for the first time in 1789 and then permanently in 1796 under the French regime. Since the Revolution, the abbey was assigned to various uses: arsenal, meeting facilities, shops. In 1805, the City moved to the Civil Hospital which operated until 1876, when he was transferred to the building it occupies today.

This historic Wrocław water tower is situated in Borek, the district of Krzyki that is the southern borough of Wrocław,PolandThe water tower at Sudecka Street in Wrocław was designed by Karl Klimm, a reputed local architect. Famed at the beginning of the 20th century, Klimm also designed the impressive building of the High School of Construction Engineering and Machinery (the today’s Faculty of Architecture of the Wrocław University of Technology) and theZwierzyniecki Bridge (formerly known as the Pass Bridge).

Petronas Twin Towers, Malaysia

The Petronas Towers, also known as the Petronas Twin Towers (MalayMenara Petronas, or Menara Berkembar Petronas), are twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. According to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH)'s official definition and ranking, they were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 and remain the tallest twin towers in the world. The buildings are a landmark of Kuala Lumpur, along with nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower.

Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre , also known as Macau Tower, is a tower located in the Special Administrative Region of thePeople's Republic of China. Macau used to be a Portuguese colony until 1999. The tower measures 338 m (1,109 ft) in height from ground level to the highest point. An observation deck with panoramic views, restaurants, theaters, shopping malls and the Skywalk X, a thrilling walking tour around the outer rim. It offers the best view of Macau and in recent years has been used for a variety of adventurous activities. At 233 meters, the Macau Tower's tethered "skyjump" and Bungee jump by AJ Hackett[1] from the tower's outer rim, is the highest commercial skyjump in the world (233 meters), and the second highest commercial decelerator descent facility in the world, after Vegas' Stratosphere skyjump at 252 meters.[2] The tower was created by the architecture firm of Craig Craig Moller.
The tower is one of the members of the World Federation of Great Towers. Besides being used for observation and entertainment, the tower is also used for telecommunications and broadcasting.
